Broke exactly after 517 hours of continuous work . A gear mounted on the electric motor shaft (inside the gear compartment) lost all it's teeth. The motor worked in vertical position (gear facing down) with no axial or radial forces applied. It was driving a short (30 cm) straight steel rod mounted with double bearings through flexible coupling. Almost no torque as the rod was supposed to rotate freely in the air. As I was expecting similar lifespan, so such behaviour does not influence my ratings so much.

The motor goes well for use with 3-cell battery but with 2s it is slow, the transmission has good torque, the ratio is 1:26. I used it to replace the transmission of the wpl which is 1:20 but I kept the original engine because it is slightly better. In the C24 the ventral angle improves. All gears are metal, in total are 6 against the 5 gears carried by the wpl, so it is slightly longer

El motor va bien para usarlo con batería de 3 celdas pero con 2s es lento, la transmisión tiene buen torque, la relación es 1:26. Lo usé para remplazar la transmisión del wpl que es 1:20 pero conservé el motor original porque es ligeramente mejor. En el C24 mejora el ángulo ventral. Todos los engranes son de metal, en total son 6 contra los 5 engranes que lleva el wpl, por eso es ligeramente más largo

Shaft diameter is 4mm (!), not 5mm. Now I have 7 wrong Hex Gear connectors, ordered with them for 14 USD and cannot use them... waited 4 1/2 weeks for them (priority direct mail)...

Motor runs very smooth. The rotation speed is somewhat slower than expected.(especially, at 3 V) Torque is good. One of the two motors had trouble with reduction gear, and had to disassemble to clean/re-lubricate the gears.(problem solved)

Amazing bang for your buck, they mention gear noise but it is not at all abnormal. Very high quality and a good deal at twice the price. Just ordered more of these! (can never have to many good gear motors)
